Got Gas? Where?

No the B-blogger hasn't lost his mind nor am I looking for comments such as "my mother-in-law's three bean salad", or "my neighbor's dairy cows." Instead, this post is for you to use to post where you are getting the best gasoline prices. In case you weren't aware price per gallon can vary as much as 10-12 cents/gallon on the Chestertown - Middletown corridor. The B-blogger thinks today that Molly's Mart gas at 2.59/gallon is your best bet. So bloggers let us see your recommendations as the days proceed. Just post a recommendation.

  1. That's a good price; it was $2.63 in Middletown at Valero just before the state lines on Sunday. In Chestertown, Bennett's usually has the best price and it is nice to have it pumped for you.

  2. I agree. Premium at Molly's is only $2.84/gal. Cheaper than Wawa and one octane point higher. Credit ard swipes at the pump are forthcoming according to Molly's.

  3. As of Wednesday Aug 18th, Molly's takes credit card swipes at the pump, just no receipts according to Dr. Mark. Gas is still 2.59/gallon

  4. $2.79 now for the good stuff at Wawa. Four cents less than the $2.83 at Molly's. BB, in your spare time how about a price wiki on the top of the blog for Molly's, Valero, Shell and Wawa?

  7. For those heading North if you travel Route 13 directly to Route 495, there is a brand new WAWA perhaps a mile beyond the Route 1 cut off to route 95. They often have very good prices and or try the WAWA just before the Route 495 entrance.

  8. Good Morning B-blog viewers,
For those that don't know me my name is Maggie Patterson and I am one of the folks running for Election to Council. I ran 2 years ago and lost unfortunately by a mere 4 votes so thank you to all that voted for me, I'm Back.
I have a lot of views and opinions of how to take Betterton into the next generation and make this a place that while driving down the street you will not see so many for sale sign.
I don't feel at this point nor did i feel 2 years ago that we have a government for the residents. We have had in place for many many years the same Mayor and for many years the same council members. Thank goodness for Mike Otwelll who managed to get on council two years ago.
As someone mentioned earlier using the metaphor for a train and that the mayor needs to get the steam up, honestly the train has been sitting in the station for years with the same kaboose and conductors and the cost keeps going up. It must be a steam engine because the cost of water to make steam is felt by the residents who don't have the right ticket to board this train. I say derail that train and get a new advanced model. I hope everyone that is speaking for change uses the opportunity at election time to voice that with a vote and get things running more like a town than a minority of individuals. The last time I looked we have more than 4 folks (mayor and 3 council members) living in Betterton.

  9. I'd like to know why there is no money in the town treasury at the end of the physical year. Could it be getting lost?
