August 19th - 7PM - The BCDC will meet at Betterton's Town Hall to discuss the new community center's landscaping as well as the fund raising needed to furnish our Center. August 28th - The Second Annual Betteron Fig Fest! Come by with a fig dish and sample many others. To learn more about specific events during the day contact the Fig Fest chair, Wendy Coslett. To share a favorite fig recipe leave a post below

Lady Coslett says: Everyone is invited, even Jimmie and his lovely spouse or perhaps he will meet her! Co-Chair Lady Palma says: Fig Fest will begin at 6PM hosted at the home Craig & Mare Smith at 111 Bayside Blvd, Betterton. Attendees are required to bring a fabulous/creative Fig dish and a generous amount of beverage to share. Can't cook at least bring a fruit salad with a Fig on top. Not sure where to get you figs? Contact ladies Palma and Coslett for information. Jimmie you need to come with more than a Fig Leaf! Prizes will be given to the best appetizer, main course, and dessert.
ReplyDeleteGreat BCDC Meeting tonight. What a creative group of people from gardeners, architects, fund raisers with great ideas like a bicycle poker run through Betterton. Betterton is on the move. How much fun is that ?
